For the first time in the 59-year history of the Das Awkscht Fescht car show in Macungie, British cars are the feature. Not just one brand — ALL British cars and motorcycles are welcome for all three days of the DAF, one of the country’s largest antique and classic car shows.

This “show within a show” is being hosted by the Keystone British Car Club, with proceeds going to the nonprofit Macungie Memorial Park Association, as is usual for the DAF.

To give the major British car clubs and sponsors a chance to gather in bigger numbers, we will focus on Mini and MG on Saturday, and Jaguar, Land Rover, Triumph, and Rolls Royce on Sunday.

ALL BRITISH CARS are welcome to register for one, two or three days. But, if you only have one day to attend, you may want to come on the day your marque is the focus. We will welcome all British marques on all three days.

Registration FOR BRITISH CARS ONLY is available online here, through the KBCC website.

Pre-registration is $15 per car per day by July 29.

NOTE: There will be a limited amount of day-of-show registration, based on space available, at $25 per car per day. You are encouraged to preregister online to make sure you have a space on the field.

Information: Contact Cliff Maurer at 484-225-8619 or by email.

Das Awkscht Fescht — “The August Festival” — has been a summer tradition since 1964, “influenced in name and flavor by the Pennsylvania German culture found in Macungie.”

It is one of the largest antique and classic motor vehicle shows east of the Mississippi River, and has for years been operated by the Ontelaunee Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America.

The show is held at — and benefits — Macungie Memorial Park, which is owned and operated by a nonprofit association that receives no tax dollars.
